Excel: What Happened?
What is a
PivotTable, anyways? To Pivot means to move the data from the Rows
into the Columns. This is cool. Try it:
Pivot the Table! Click on
the PivotTable Go to the
Field List Drag and
Drop the Department Field from the Rows to the Columns. What do
you see? The names of the departments are displayed at the top
of each column. The count of the Bug Reports, and the name of the
software that caused the problems, is shown for each department.
