What do you see? When you add the Value, the PivotTable will automatically count the records fro each row. There is a Grand Total for each Department too.

 

Count is the default field value. What are the other options?

 

6. Change the Field Setting

Select Cell B4. This is the total for the Count of Computer ID.

 

Go to PivotTable Tools

Click on the Options Tab

Select Field Properties
