Start -> Network Are you on
a Local Area Network? There are 5 computers in my LAN, including my
Computer, TEACHERV. There are only
3 computers turned on, so that is all I
see in the Network.
Try it: Is your computer connected to other
computers?
Go to Start and click on Network. Do you
see your own computer? This confirms that the network hardware and
network protocols on your computer are correctly installed. Do you see any
other computers in the Network? This confirms whether your LAN is
working.
It is best to test the LAN and make certain that works,
before you test your connection to the
Internet, and the
whole World Wide Web.
