Other Security Settings

All of the settings we have made in the Control Panel through this Security Center has been saved in the Windows Registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

 

These settings determine how Windows can protect the privacy and security of the person who logged on. Any discussion on security will always return to the user.

 

User Account Control is a system that requires your permission before it will begin. There are four alerts:

Windows functions may affect everyone that uses this computer. Turning off the Internet access is one example. Adding a new software program is another example of something that may have global effects.
