This mail merge created one letter for each outstanding movie title. In this example, your customer would receive three separate letters.

 

Three letters may get her attention, but it probably isn’t what you had in mind.

 

This is where you really have to think like a user. A straight mail merge in Word does not give you the opportunity to combine all of the records for one customer. OK, that’s where Access has the upper hand.

 

In Access, you can modify the report with Grouping and Sorting .

 

Save your Mail Merge document and close Microsoft Word 2007.

Mailings->Write and Insert Fields -> Address Block
