Adding Data to a Table

If you repeat the sort going A-Z, you will find many records which do not have a genre listed. These records are incomplete: all of the information hasn’t been added yet.

 

Try it: Edit the Record

Find the movie called: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Add the following data to this record:

Under Rating, type: PG13.

For Genre, type: Drama.

For Stars, type: Mos Def.

 

What do you see? As you are entering the new information, look at the record selector at the beginning of the row.

 

The small pencil means that the new record has not been saved, yet.
