Front Row Video rents movies to the local folks in MyTown, Michigan. In this business scenario, they are not expecting sales from people in other states or countries.

 

You can specify the Default Value in the table design.

Select the State field

Review the Field Properties

Type the Default Value: MI

 

Now, whenever you add a new customer, the database will fill in the state automatically .
