Think of how this form will be used when there are many customers waiting at the checkout counter. What is the fastest way to look up someone's name and address?

 

It is quicker to find a customer by phone number than spelling someone's name.

 

Numbers are easy to repeat and type. This is the business model used in  video stores and exercise centers.

 

The Receipt form needs a Customer Combo box.

The process steps are:

1. Create a Record Source for the Combo Box.

2. Create a Combo Box that uses that Record Source.

3. Test the Form...

 

And make improvements.
