Two courses were developed and taught for the Center for
Creative Studies College of Art: Digital Skills and Sound
Design. Digital Skills covered Mac and Windows interfaces,
hardware, networking, and introductions to applications
including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, SoundEdit16, and
Director. Students incorporated graphics, sound, video, and
animation into interactive presentations.
Sound Design
students learned critical listening skills, basic recording
techniques, and digital audio hardware and software. Assignments
included creating short and long-form video soundtracks
incorporating music, dialogue, voiceovers, and effects.
