The Computer Mama Show,
was a pilot program
produced with WFUM/TV28. PBS, Flint, Michigan. The purpose of the pilot
was to investigate the convergence of television and computers. Both of
these digital technologies offer rich media and excellent entertainment.
Reach for the Stars
is a new 13 week program that will illustrate "Way Cool" math and
science experiments, and demonstrate the technology needed to do the
job.
According to
Elizabeth Nofs, Creative Director for the
Comma Project,
"Integration places the computer in a
real world context: supportive of the work or curriculum instead of
isolated in a computer lab."
