What should you back up? You need to back up your documents and databases. However, there are a few other things in your computer that would be extremely annoying to lose. Email Outlook and Outlook Express for Internet Mail Only (IMO) each use Personal Folders and Address Books. The default location of these files varies with each operating system. The easiest way to find the Outlook files is to go to Start ->Search and type Outlook* or Inbox* in the Search box. The “*” asterisk, or star key is a wildcard. It means, "Give me everything with the name Outlook.” Internet If you use the Internet, you may have a list of web sites that you added to the Favorites list. Each flavor of Windows stores the Favorites folder in a different place. Use Search to look for Favorites*   A Better Plan This manual method works, but is not very efficient.
