No Games Allowed Games are good. Games are fun. However, games can change the system configuration. Sometimes you can’t get any video output after a new game is installed. With other games, the sound stops working. If you’re going to do games, you have to be willing to learn how to fix it yourself. That’s the rule. Most companies don’t allow users to install games at work. You’re there to work, right? Its one thing to spend a weekend rebuilding your system after a game trashes the configuration. That’s on your time. Its another issue to take a workstation down for a day. Some people play by the rules, some don’t.   It’s not as intimidating as it looks. I’ve been there…and I’ll be here for you. When it all gets too frustrating, repeat after me: I AM the administrator.
