Add A New Drive Adding another hard drive is rather easy. When you have two hard drives in the box, one has to be the Master and one has to be the Slave. The Master is the one with the operating system on it. The new drive is usually becomes the Master. New equipment is faster and more reliable so it is a good choice for running the operating system and all of your productivity programs.   Hard drives have little jumpers which make them Master or Slave. The hard drive manufacturer usually provides a diagram of how these jumpers are supposed to be set.   The Computer Mama doesn’t want to wear bi-focals. So she has a very hard time reading these jumpers...
