The
Comma Project is
dedicated to providing innovative, fast-paced, cost-effective,
gender-balanced office productivity computer training to
individuals, businesses, educators, and students. Our training
products/programs are being delivered in multiple formats to
meet each user’s individual needs – via the Internet, by CD-ROM,
and through instructor-led training programs.
In addition to our efforts in the private sector, we are
actively involved in the public sector. We are working with
educational organizations to develop a viable methodology that
can be introduced in the classroom to:
-
Allow educators
to meet the
TSSA and
ISTE (NETS) standards and requirements
-
Allow students to
use computer technology in support of academic and
development needs as early as possible,
-
Eliminate the
present gender bias (against female students and
professionals) in the use of computer technology
We are also working to address the problems facing unemployed
and underemployed people (especially women) who lack the
technical skills (MOS
proficiency) to enter the workforce in a job that pays better
than minimum wage, or to get a better, higher paying job. |
