Archive Settings
At the top
of the screen is the check mark for turning on AutoArchive, where it
says Run AutoArchive Every 14 Days.
For Cleaning, the default setting is 6 months. You can select
a longer or shorter interval depending on how much stuff you want to
clear out of Outlook.
After you clean your folders, a copy of the appointments and
emails can be moved to the default archive.pst or your own pst
folder. You can Permanently delete the items.
Select Apply these settings to all folders. Now,
Outlook will handle everything the same way—the calendar, Inbox, Journal,
Contacts.
