Take Control: Q&A
Your database has customers and movies. You also need a
table that stores the rental prices.
Try it: Create a Rental Price Table
Go to the Create Ribbon
Select Create Table Design
Add three fields:
RentalID, an Autonumber
Price, a Currency
Description, a Text field.
Make RentalID the Primary
Key.
Price is a number:
it is also money. Click on the Price Data Type
Change the
Field Properties
on the bottom. Click on the Format property and select Currency
from the options.
Now the formatting will work:
$3.50 will show the dollar sign and the pennies. It will not round
up to $4.
