UPS
Here in the Sandbox, power is stabilized by using an
uninterrupted power supply. A UPS is primarily a
storage battery that keeps your system running if the power blacks
out. The bigger UPS have a longer battery life. Small consumer units
will give you 15 to 30 minutes to shut down your equipment.
A UPS can also monitor and
condition the power. Remember, computers don’t like spikes or brown
outs.
