View-> Web Layout View Web Layout Usually we work in the Print Layout. This is the standard view for an 8 1/2 x 11" document. A web page is not tall, it is wide like a TV.   Go to the View Ribbon and select Web Layout.   Web pages are built with HTML- hypertext markup language. This format provides a standardized set of code for Internet browsers. But not to worry. Microsoft Word is a web authoring program: it will write the HTML code for us. Try it: our little company will be Charlotte’s Web Site. Type that at the top of this web page. Select the name and make it big, bold, and colorful with the Font Group on the Home Ribbon.
