Account Type Users belong to User Groups Windows Vista and Windows XP offers two default account types in the Control Panel: Administrators Standard Users   The Administrator monitors, manages and approves all of the changes to the system. By definition, the Administrator has unrestricted rights to do everything: add hardware, install software, and work with security.   The Administrator is responsible for the janitorial tasks. There's no power or prestige in going to the digital basement to clear the printer queue! Start-> Control Panel -> User Accounts
