Windows Media Player Windows
offers several options for recording and playing sound and video.
The Media Player and the Sound Recorder are very
simple tools. The buttons are intuitive and the easy to figure out.
Windows
Vista Home Basic or Vista Business saves the Sound Recorder as
.wav files. Many
media players, such as Apples' QuickTime program, provide more
sophisticated software. You may need
several players: some recordings
only run on one or the other.
