The Sound Card
Good music
needs a good sound system. Most
motherboards have the sound card embedded into the chipset. In the
photo on this page, the Sound card is yellow, with three sound
ports.
Red is for
recording. The microphone goes here. Green
means "Go." The speakers plug in here.
Onboard
sound has plenty of power and engineering to provide excellent
output.
Some Sound Cards also have a port for a Joystick.
The
Audio device properties can be found in the Control Panel in the
Hardware and Sounds option. There is a link to the Properties, where
you can review or update the Drivers.
