Take Control: Sound Properties
The
Playback options are easy to identify and configure. Windows
Vista lists any hardware that is plugged into your computer and
reports it's status. Each piece
of hardware can have its own custom configuration. In this
illustration, the Digital Output Device (SPDIF) is built into the
motherboard. This sound device includes a Digital Receiver with
Dolby Digital sound.
