System Requirements

Microsoft Windows Vista has been configured for several different environments. The hardware requirements vary depending on the purpose of the machine. For example, a computer optimized for gaming will have a powerful video card as well as a lot of memory.

 

This course is focused on the things you need to be able to do at work: contact customers, make a presentation, and print a price sheet. The Complete Computer Guide will demonstrate the options available in Windows Vista Business edition.

 

 

 

 

Hardware requirements for Vista Business:

 

Processor: 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)
RAM: 1 GB of system memory


Hard Drive:
40 GB with at least 15 GB of available space

 

Video: Support for DirectX 9 graphics with
WDDM Driver
128 MB of graphics memory (needs more)
Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
32 bits per pixel

DVD-ROM drive
Audio Output
