The Administrator
Within each office someone has to become The Administrator. The
Administrator is empowered with the awesome responsibility of keeping
the system up and running.
It doesn't matter how big or small, or
how many computers, users, printers, and toys are in your office. There is ONE job that
must be done: Protect the Data. The Data. The Data. The Data. All
those Word, Excel, Access, QuickBooks files. Nothing else is as
important as the data you need to keep your company up and running.
Computers will come and go. The data, in many cases, is
irreplaceable.
I’m the meanest Computer Mama in the
World on this issue….for a reason. I’ve seen months of man-hours
lost forever because no one thought about how to protect the data
files.
