Take Control: Network Properties
What kind of
troubleshooting tools are available? The Network and Sharing Center
says in several different ways that the network is out. The red X is
kind of obvious, even to me. When you click
on the X, Windows will launch a network diagnostic program and attempts
to repair or renew the network. The Windows
Network Diagnostics checks the hardware and can let you know if the
cable is unplugged.
