Refreshing the View
When
you select “Drama” from the Genre Combo, does the MovieList
subform show you only Drama? It didn’t, did it?
Try this: Refresh the Records
Go to the
Home tab.
Select
Records->Refresh All.
Does the
subform display Dramas now?
So, the Combo and the
query criteria work. The database just needs to Refresh the
subform. There are some users who will never remember how and when
to Refresh.
Is there a way to
program the database to Refresh automatically? Of course.
