What Do You
Want to
Take With You?
Computers have
evolved into functional hardware. For example, the
Apple iPod can hold thousands of music and video files. The iPod
can play all by itself, or plug into the car system and use the stereo
speakers.
A Memory
Stick, or Thumb Drive, is a Flash drive. It behaves like a hard
drive, except that it stores your files in memory, and not on a spinning
magnetic drive.
Each of these
devices can share and transfer information with your desktop computer.
For example, the phone can carry all of your Emails and Contacts from
Microsoft Outlook.
Synchronizing
data and sharing useful information: that's what makes a piece of
hardware practical.
That’s all from the Sandbox, where
only the best and greatest survive!
