What Is Success?

Users come to your software tests expecting software that works as well as any other Windows software.

 

We all learn to expect certain behaviors from the computer. An “X” can mean “exit” or close. It can also mean, “Don’t do that.”

 

If you use “X” as “X marks the spot!” you will confuse your users. This is not what they assume when they click on the “X” symbol.
